Glassine Phlynx - Creatures of the Metaverse
The Glassine Phlynx is a rare species that originates from the planet Phylax, deep in the heart of the Metaverse. Unlike it’s land-dwelling relatives, the Glassine Phlynx lives in the Mesosphere of the planet Phylax, swimming through the thick bubbling, gaseous atmosphere searching for clusters of Phylankton, the small floating mesospheric creatures that they like to eat. Glassine Phlynx are solitary, shy creatures, and are believed to be highly intelligent, though little is known about their lifestyle because they tend to disappear when researchers try to get too close. I was lucky enough to capture this video footage of the Glassine Phlynx on my last research expedition to Phylax.
