It was so much fun to have the opportunity to include my Iridescent Dragon and Amphibigor monster at The Phantom Gallery, an Augmented Reality art exhibition located in the historic Old Town San Diego for Halloween 2023. This innovative showcase uses Adobe Aero to present geo-located AR art, resulting in a truly immersive experience.

The exhibition was a collaboration of AR/VR artworks by a talented group of XR artists, including Holliday Horton, Kevin Ang, Cabel Adams, Jacki Clark, Jason Rogalski, Tim Mitchell, and myself (Willowmoon Art). 

Being chosen as an artist in residence at Mozilla Hubs was a true honor and a dream come true. From December 2022 to March 2023, I was able to immerse myself in learning world building from the incredible Hubs community. 

We were given the freedom to build any type of world we wanted, and I decided to create the Cosmic Canvas Space Gallery,  an art gallery set in space.  My goal was to create a gallery world featuring easy-to-use media frames, that would allow users who wanted to have their own art show in the gallery to simply be able to drag and drop their images into the frames. 

I created one-eyed alien avatars to go with my world, and a UFO that visitors could travel to from the gallery, where they could watch an alien beaming up and down from a meteor.

The example gallery world is set up with an art show featuring ai art that I created in MidJourney called, "Luminae through Ocularian Eyes" - images featuring strange creatures collected by the Ocularian aliens on their journey to the planet Luminae! 

The Hubs community was exceptionally supportive and proved to be an invaluable resource throughout my residency. In addition to gaining so many new technical skills, engaging with fellow artists, builders, and enthusiasts allowed me to exchange ideas, gain new perspectives, and expand my horizons. I am so grateful to have had this amazing experience and look forward to building more worlds in Mozilla Hubs in the future!

I finally got around to making a compilation video with some of my favorite VR art pieces from the end of 2021 and early 2022.  All my art is made with Tiltbrush, Openbrush, Gravity Sketch, Adobe Medium, Masterpiece Studio, Neos VR, Mixamo, Unity, and/or Blender. I often combine multiple apps to create each piece. I participated in the VRArtLive Year of VR Art weekly challenge for three years, and many of these pieces were made as entries for the weekly challenge. 

OMG....my Swine Lake ballerina piggies won 1st place in the advanced category of the Animate 3D contest at Deep Motion Animate3d !!!! 🎉🥳🎈 I can't even believe it...I am SO excited...my piggies and I are jumping with joy!!! 🌸🐷🩰😄 

In addition to the AMAZING cash prize, I also won a month of their pro subscription so expect to see more animations in the coming month! For anyone wanting to get into animation, this is a great way to get started. You can upload your own rigged 3d character and a video with the motion that you want and their amazing software makes your character move just like the video! I made the pigs in Virtual Reality using Gravity Sketch, rigged them in Masterpiece Motion, and animated it with Deep Motion Animate 3D and put it all together to record it in Neos VR.

So honored to be part of this fun event to celebrate all the artists who completed the 2020 Year of VR Art challenge! I was a weekly participant and did one piece based on the themes all year long, for a total of 53 weeks (because it was a leap year!), so I earned a beautiful silver virtual trophy and was interviewed by The Sabby Life and That Thom Clancy. We had a fun party in a beautiful lounge afterwards! Huge thank you to all involved in putting together this wonderful event, and to my friend Raritie who made me a special avatar to wear!

My "Covid Eating Chameleon" was featured at the VRArtLive 2020 VR Burn held in VR Chat...it was so much fun to see all the wonderful VR art up close and meet the other artists! So honored to have been part of this special event!  

I had a great time yesterday at the XR Atlanta Virtual Art Showcase in Altspace! My compilation video below was featured in the show and it was so fun to see it playing on a gigantic screen on a beautiful tropical island! I had fun exploring all the worlds and seeing the other artist's videos with my friends. Thank you XR Atlanta for including me in this awesome event! 

I did it - I completed all 31 days of Inktober 2020, making VR art based on the #inktober theme words every day. It was a challenge to keep up with, but I'm proud to have finished it! Thank you VRArtLive for the awesome Inktober champ trophy! Here's a compilation video of all my Inktober pieces - it is fun to see them all together!

In August 2020, I was lucky enough to be co-director of the VRArtLive Galactic Safari show along with The SabbyLife, and was also VJ for the show - a whole new experience for me!  It was amazing to work with all the talented artists of the VRArt Live community and to help bring the show to life.  I designed the poster above, featuring my aliens in the safari jeep. They had a wonderful time traveling through the galaxy seeing the fantastic worlds and creatures that came from the imagination of our community of artists. My short animation "The Haircut" was shown at the VRArtLive Animation Screening July 11, 2020 in Altspace. Such a fun event with animations from so many talented artists. The animations were made as part of a month long project for the Year of VR Art challenge. Mine was made entirely in VR. I made my aliens and hair salon in Gravity Sketch, rigged the characters in Masterpiece Motion, and animated/filmed it in Tvori.
